Sisley PHYTO-Blush Twist Review

Sisley Phyto-Blush Twist

Over the last few weeks if you have been reading my blog posts you may have noticed there has been quite a few luxury products featured on my blog. I'm not sure what has happened but I have really been into what the big brands have been coming out with this Spring/Summer. With the change of season there are so many amazing new collections to try out! It may be because I just love to know what new technology is being used in makeup as well as finding out about all the exciting new formulas and textures that will be used over the next few months. Usually the new technology is used on the bigger/luxury brands first then eventually will be used on the drugstore/pharmacy brands (on their sister brands). By looking at all the new textures it seems a lot of the luxury brands are getting it right and creating makeup that is pigmented, good coverage yet still looks natural.

From left to right: Fuchsia: a vibrant pink and Papaya a healthy coral

Anyway; the Sisley Phyto-Blush is marketed as' a instant-radiance boost in a single stroke' that 'offers the comfort of a cream that melts onto the skin but is then transformed into a delicate powder'. It does just that! I love it because it gives me the most beautiful radiant glow to the apples of my cheeks without looking powdery or too shinny. I feel as though it really 'lifts' my skin and makes my cheeks glow without the need to use a highlighter. Again I really don't know what happened to me but I've just haven't been into powdery makeup so these types of blushes are just perfect for the look I go for now. It's funny because a year ago I'd never put just a cream blush on my cheeks because I'd often think that it would bring out my pores and break me out; and perhaps because of these types of beautiful and long lasting formulas.... now I actually like the look of that 'glow from within' that is still natural with just enough skin peeking though.

All-in-all the Sisley Phyto Blush is a beautiful cream blush that is really easy to blend, comes in  really cool black and white zebra packaging and would be a luxury addition to your makeup collection. Available for $80 at David Jones in 3 shades Petal, Fuchsia and Papaya.
