Zoeva Rose Golden Eyeshadow Palette Review

Ever since I first was introduced to the Charlotte Tilbury Dolce Vita eyeshadow palette I knew that rose gold and copper tone eye shadows were for me. I was lucky enough to receive the Zoeva Rose Golden eyeshadow palette from a good friend of mine for my birthday at the end of last year. And what a lovely and surprising gift it was!

I was delighted to receive this as a gift, the packaging is modern, sleek with a beautiful rose gold foil case and cover . After playing around with the product; I actually think that it will be my new travel friendly palette because of the easy go-to packaging as well as it being very thin and strong enough to carry around in my luggage bag.

Let's talk colours and swatches: The palette contains ten different shades ranging from golden champagne, dark brown and rose gold with a combination of finishes such as matte and slightly shimmery finishes. It's really easy to create a soft smokey eye or a natural look for everyday. In my opinion every single shade has a rich creamy pigment with a exceptional colour payoff, for the price of $36 AU it's quite a bargain if you think about it because one single MAC eyeshadow costs around that price in Australia. At the same time it still gives you professional quality and finish, the only thing it doesn't have is a built in mirror or eyeshadow brush, but to be honest I don't use the mirror in the eyeshadow compact when applying makeup because I prefer a proper mirror and for the price I'd rather have a quality eyeshadow palette without the brush then a so-so palette with an brush. You won't get a black shade or a variety of textures in this palette, but that doesn't bother me because its exactly the shades and finish I desire over the spring/summer!
